It is often believed that smaller rooms should not be too busy not to make the room look smaller... In the case of powder rooms however, I often tend to go the opposite direction.

I must admit that wallpaper is one of my biggest design weaknesses... it gets me so excited and happy when I am able to use a beautiful, impactful wall paper as a feature wall in a room!

Pillows, Pillows, yes I love pillows!

Anyone who has worked with me, knows that one of my signature traits is definitely the use of different pillows in my spaces. I like using them for many reasons:

Nautical theme is a style often associated with a beach like environment: pool houses, casual spaces, southern or even common in boy's rooms. Many people that like it have a hard time incorporating it in a sophisticated way.

I love the New Year as it is the fresh start to new beginnings. It is a time when I probably feel the strongest and most motivated and fully energized to make plans and follow through with them.

One of the most frequent enquiries and phone calls I receive are for wall colours, yet I always tell my clients colour on the wall is actually always the SECOND thing I select, not the first.

Pink is actually one of my personal favourite colours! Unfortunately, i don't get to use it a lot in designs as it is mostly a very feminine look. Even in children spaces, it tends to be a colour used more for younger children but why?
