Catherine-Lucie Horber is the proud founder of Royal Interior Design Ltd. She is dedicated to creating distinctive and personal lifestyle based interiors that are designed to enhance how you live with an understated yet elegant and affordable luxury.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business, a motivated and driven Catherine-Lucie worked her way up the corporate ladder for over a decade in the marketing area of a large international corporation. During her business career she discovered her true passion for interior decorating. It soon became her favourite hobby and fascination. A few years later, she embraced the challenge to officially leave the corporate world and use all of the business knowledge and experience she had gained over the years and combine it with her true passion and with no other accolades but an irrevocable drive, she founded her business Royal Interior Design Ltd. Clients seek her services from all over the GTA looking purely for her instinctive skills that come ever so naturally, her undeniable creativity, imagination and incredible and very unique sense of VISION.
The Toronto based Firm Royal Interior Design Ltd. specializes in Custom Interior ideas for both residential and commercial clients as well offers a staging division for builders and realtors looking to sell their homes.
With now over a decade of experience behind her Catherine-Lucie has decorated and planned over 100 custom projects and the firm has now grown even bigger with their latest expansion of their beautiful Reno & Decor Showroom facility offering its clients an unparalleled experience and choice of options and resources at their fingertips all under one roof.
The firm's services range from Home Staging, to complete conceptualization of Interiors and recommendations on selections of finishes during Renovations and clients home building projects.
The firm’s designs are typically transitional and mildly eclectic, family friendly with touches of elegance, backed by a team of highly skilled trades, upholstery & drapery work rooms, incredible craftsmanship artisans for their client's custom built-in cabinetry needs, kitchens and so much more.
Catherine-Lucie prides herself on her company philosophy and belief that anything can be created beautifully and elegantly without having to spend a fortune on every item. She truly believes that it is the sum of all the parts that form the perfect ensemble. As a creative thinker with high attention to details, Catherine-Lucie ensures her clients are satisfied throughout the design process and prides herself on their unparalleled personalized service. Today the firm continues to grow working on a variety of small to full scale residential and commercial projects by consulting and assisting clients by giving them creative ideas that help transform spaces into emotionally evoking environments they fall in love with.
Alessia has been a part of the Royal Team for over 3 years on a part-time basis along side her studies at the University of Guelph.
She is a very dedicated, hard working contributor to the firm and enjoys the many facets of design.
Her calm and jovial demeanor is ideal for customer care pre and post completion of their projects. She is extremely resourceful with an eagerness and thirst to learn. She is very savvy and loves stylish modern designs with a twist.
In her time with our firm, she has already gained experience in many areas of the business, from book keeping, staging, event planning, marketing material creation, creating purchase orders and liaising with multiple suppliers and trades, set ups, purchasing, returns and even started with the planning of small individual room design projects including management, logistics planning and fully executed implementation.
Alessia is currently working towards the completion of her BACHELOR of COMMERCE DEGREE, majoring in Marketing Management and we are thrilled to have her on board with us until her completion when she will then be on a full time basis!

Mirna is a highly motivated and energetic business professional. She is always happy to help serve and please her clients. She strives to establish lasting positive impressions that always keep her clients coming back!
As a business owner herself, she has a vast experience in customer satisfaction, dealing with high pressure situations, meeting short deadlines, establishing new business contacts, liaising with multiple suppliers, problem solving and overall business relations.
It is a huge asset to have her being part of the Royal Team.
Mirna understands business management as she has owned and managed many of her own. Weight loss centres, chiropractic clinics as well as her hardware and home accent business “ Handle This” that she is currently growing very rapidly!
She also has great experience working with overseas markets, customs and the importing of goods which is hugely beneficial to help bypass third parties and enable us to offer our clients direct access to unique, fun and funky products.
We are thrilled to be working on a consultant level with Mirna as she brings all her levels of professionalism, experience and business management skills to the table when helping us with our daily operations and planning.
Fernando is our very own "hands on" Handy Man !! He came directly from Argentina, where he studied renovations and carpentry in school. He also has real life experience working in the field building homes from the ground up on multiple major projects!
We are thrilled to have him on board with us in order to better aid and assist our clients with huge added value!! No need to search any further, he is at our disposal and has our clients as his top priority! It is amazing to have access to personalized services that we can offer our clients at our fingertips.
From, backsplash removal and installations, painting, very detailed trim work, wallpaper installation and all sorts of handy work such as pictures, artwork, rods, mirrors hanging, handle installation and so much more!
Fernando comes along with the Royal Interior Design complete Fleet of fully loaded van with tools, truck, trailer and everything required and needed to do multiple jobs and better service our clients.

SPECIAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Marcus has been a major contributor in Royal Interior Design since its inception. His highly sought after, one of a kind skills in craftsmanship, custom cabinet making and master carpentry have been a huge and immeasurable asset to all of Royal Interior Design’s customers over the years…
As a young teenager he discovered a passion and hidden talent in the wood working field and has been perfecting his skills ever since. What started as a side hobby, became a realization and opportunity to discover his manual gifts and talents which enable him to create his many masterpieces!
His high attention to detail, patience to do the job right, innovative ideas and most of all priceless creative thinking to make impossible situations work seamlessly have been instrumental in the making of our customers creations.
We are thrilled to have him alongside with us as a supporter, consultant and avid contributor to the Royal team on special projects!
Louis-Philippe is our very own IT GURU! With over 35 years of experience under his belt, he has built extremely complex software programming solutions for top manufacturers worldwide.
His leadership, coaching and training within our firm in the technological field has been indispensable.
Louis-Philippe is the catalyst that helps to keep us updated with the latest trends, equipment and technological solutions that will immensely help our daily operations and processes.
His focus has been to provide user friendly tools and innovative creative solutions driven to better aid our customer experience during the multi phases of our design process!
Louis-Philippe is very passionate about “oasis planet” an ongoing project founded by him. His vast wealth of knowledge in the zero energy, “green” efficiency home design solutions offers us much to aspire and plan for and offer our clients in future!
He is also the founder and creator of a custom software programming system that monitors home alarm systems. AI247 is another great one of his many inventions that can be very useful to our home owners.
